Vietnam: History of the Evolution of Partitioned States Linyi and Champa original: "林邑" (Linyi) and "占城" (Zhancheng). These were historical Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms located in central and southern Vietnam before being absorbed during Vietnam's southward expansion.
