Compiled by the Qing Dynasty scholar-official Wu Qijun and published posthumously in 1848, this is considered the first modern-style botanical treatise in China. It contains detailed descriptions and illustrations of 1,714 plant species, focusing on their medicinal uses and physical characteristics.
