Written by Wu Qijun of Gushi Wu Qijun (1789–1847) was a high-ranking Qing official and scholar whose field observations significantly advanced Chinese botany.
Edited and published by Lu Yinggu of Mengzi Lu Yinggu was a contemporary official who oversaw the posthumous publication of Wu's massive work in 1848.
