They cultivated themselves through compassion and skillfully entered into the wisdom of the Buddha.
They were thoroughly versed in Great Wisdom and had reached the other shore original: bi'an (paramita); the state of perfection or Nirvana, moving from the shore of suffering to the shore of enlightenment. Their names were heard throughout immeasurable worlds, and they were able to save countless hundreds of thousands of living beings.
