A brown leather book binding featuring a gold-tooled decorative border consisting of a repeating chain or interlocking circle pattern. The spine has raised bands with gold-leaf floral or fleur-de-lis stamps in the compartments. There is a small white library label affixed to the lower portion of the spine. Faint, illegible handwritten or stamped text is visible in the center of the front cover.
