BARBERINUS I 120, 16th century, poorly written. Begins: "Prolegomena to the three figures of Aristotle from the works of Philoponus: We have already spoken in the previous books, etc." 1) Barberinus I 87, 10th century, f. 52r—168v, contains the Analytica Priora and Posteriora with interlinear glosses (10th century) and marginal scholia (14th century), among which fragments of Philoponus seem to exist, such as f. 52r: "He omitted 'it is necessary' according to the Attic custom"; but it would hardly be worth the effort to collect these. Barberinus I 164, 14th century, f. 39r—121v, has the Analytica Priora adorned with scholia (the beginning of Book I also with a paraphrase), mostly anonymous, sometimes bearing the names of Magentinus and Psellus; on f. 64v, the name of Philoponus is attached to this scholion: "Aristotle seems to bring forward this conclusion regarding the three mentioned figures—if it is necessary, then the conclusion is necessary" (i.e., p. 145,16 sq.). Philoponean scholia also appear to exist in codex Urb. 35, 14th century. Begins f. 75r: "Demonstration differs from demonstrative science."
