The Marcianus 235 [Zanetti p. 119], a paper manuscript of 267 folios from the 15th century, follows the commentaries of David (or Elias) on the Categories and Ammonius on the book De Interpretatione [cf. vol. IV 5 p. XII]. Folios 148r—263r contain this entire commentary of Philoponus. Folio 148r has the rubric title: 'Exegesis of the whole analysis from the voice of John Philoponus: — Aristotle’s Prior Analytics the first.' Folio 244r: 'Beginning of the second book: John of Alexandria, scholia on the second of the Prior Analytics of Aristotle.' Folio 263r subscription: 'The scholia s on the second of the Prior Analytics are completed with God.' Folio 263v was left empty. There follows, which is not mentioned in the catalog, a commentary on the Categories, mutilated at both the beginning and the end. I inspected the codex myself in Venice.

The Ambrosianus Q 87, a paper manuscript of the 15th century, contains Aristotle’s 'Instrument of Logical Education' Organon with various excerpts, among which A. Torstrik testifies there are also Philoponean ones from the Prior Analytics commentary, but he transcribed nothing.
The Escurialensis Φ—III—10 [Miller p. 171], a paper bombycinus manuscript—in Miller's judgment of the 13th century, in Torstrik's rather the 14th—neatly written, but in the first part miserably corrupted by moisture [cf. vol. IV 3 p. XIII], contains the Prior Analytics from page 37b4 "the indeed a the white" with Philoponus’ commentary circumscribed. These are interrupted after the words of Aristotle p. 41b22 "it is clear therefore that in everything it is necessary" by folio 87 inserted, which is "on the verb." Folio 88r, after the words of Philoponus "so that in the case of the universal this would fit only" (p. 269,15), is subscribed: 'End of the first section of the Prior Analytics.' Folio 88v title: 'Scholastic notes of John the Scholastic of Alexandria on the second section of the Prior Analytics of Aristotle. The second of the three: —' Folio 93v middle, title: 'Third section on the analysis of syllogism—'
