C While the Egyptians were in the sea, God added to command the sea, and said to Moses: Continue to strike the sea, and he did so. And the Lord commanded the sea, and it returned into its flows, and covered the Egyptians, and their chariots, and their horsemen. But He led His people into the wilderness: for forty years He rained bread from heaven, and brought the quail original: "ortigometram" to them from the sea, and He brought forth a well of following water for them. But in a pillar of cloud by day He led them, and in a pillar of fire by night He shone for them. And in the third month of the departure of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt, they came into the wilderness of Sinai, and God was mindful of His words, and said: I will give light to the world, and I will illuminate the uninhabitable places, and I will dispose My testament with the sons of men, and I will glorify My people above all nations, into whom I will cast eternal heights, which will be His in light, but to the wicked for punishment. And He said to Moses: Behold, I will call you tomorrow, be prepared, and say to My people: For three days let not a man ascend to a woman, and on the third day I will speak to you, and to them, and afterward you will ascend to Me, and I will put My words in your mouth, and you will illuminate My people in that which I have given into your hands, the eternal Law, and in this I will judge the whole world: For this will be in testimony. For if men say: We did not know You, and therefore we did not serve You, for that reason I will avenge this in them, because they did not know My Law. And Moses did what God commanded him, and he sanctified the peoples, and said to them: Be prepared for the third day, for after three days the Lord will dispose His testament with you. And the peoples were sanctified. And it happened on the third day, behold, the voices of those sounding, and the splendor of those flashing, and the voice of instruments sounded strongly. Terror occurred in all the people who were in the camp. And Moses cast the peoples out to meet God.
The Law given first with great commotion.

D And behold, the mountains burned with fire, and the earth trembled, and the hills were disturbed, and the mountains were rolling, and the abysses were boiling, and all the habitable world was moved, and the heavens were folding, and the clouds were drawing up water, and the flames of fire were burning, and thunder and lightning were frequent, and winds and storms were making noise, the stars were gathering, and angels were running before, until God should set the law of the eternal testament to the children of Israel and give eternal precepts which will not pass away. And then the Lord spoke to His people all these words, saying: I am the Lord your God, who led you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of servitude:
The ten precepts.
Exodus 20
You shall not make graven gods for yourself, nor shall you make any abomination of the Sun and Moon, or of all the ornaments of heaven, nor shall you make a likeness of any of those things which crawl in the waters, or upon the earth. I am the Lord your God, a jealous God, and rendering the sins of the sleeping or 'the fathers' onto the living sons of the impious, if they walk in the ways of their parents, even to the third and fourth generation, making mercy for a thousand generations to those who love Me, and keep My commandments. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, lest My ways be made vain: For God abominates him who takes His name in vain. Keep the Sabbath day, sanctify it. Six days do your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord. You shall not do any work in it, you, and all your operation, unless it be that in it you praise the Lord, in the assembly of the elders, and glorify the Strong One in the chair of the seniors. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all that is in them, and the whole world, and the uninhabitable wilderness, and whatever things are working, and all the disposition of heaven, and God rested on the seventh day. For that reason God sanctified the seventh day, because He rested in it. You will love your father, and your mother, and you will fear them, and then your light will rise, and I will command the sky, and it will return its rain, and the earth will accelerate its fruit, and you will be of many days, and I will dwell in your land, and you will not be
