According to the prophecy of the Holy RevelationThe Book of Revelation, the final book of the New Testament, which describes the end of the world and the return of Christ., the current minor periods beginning with the year 1816 are the most important as long as the days of heaven endure upon the earth; that is, from 1816 to 22, to 28, from 28 to 33, and from 33 to 1837.
These are called "times" in the Holy Revelation and by the prophet Daniel, and each time consists of 6 years, as we will hear hereafter. These are the original: "viertehalb." In archaic German, this means three and a half (the fourth is only half). three and a half last times of Daniel in Chapter 7, verse 25, and Revelation 12, verse 14, which determine for us the Second Coming of ChristThe belief that Jesus will return to Earth to judge the living and the dead. and shortly precede it; they are very important.
In the first period or time—that is, until 1816—we have to expect the Abomination of DesolationA biblical phrase referring to a sacrilegious presence in the temple; here, the author likely refers to the disruption of traditional church life during the Napoleonic era. and the complete loss of our worship, as well as 1,260 prophetic days and the "flight of the woman into the wilderness" to France (Revelation 12, verses 6 and 14). All of this lasts for 21 years.
In the second time, up until 1822, we are to expect the worship of the beast and its image and the mark of the beastFrom Revelation 13; a sign required for commerce that indicates allegiance to the "Beast" or Antichrist.; so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.
