[...constant] persecution and imprisonment to expect and must leave everything that we possess, at home and in the field; we receive everything back a hundredfold, after this imprisonment, and then what is written in original: "Marci" Mark chapter 10, verses 29 and 30 will be fulfilled. Mark 10:29-30 promises that those who leave home or fields for Christ's sake will receive a hundredfold in this time, along with persecutions, and eternal life in the age to come.
In the third and last time—that is, until 1833 and until 1837, which is however only a half-timeA reference to the prophetic "time, times, and half a time" from Daniel and Revelation. The author calculates these as specific blocks of years.—we are to expect the arrival and appearance of the two witnesses of ChristTwo figures described in Revelation 11 who prophesy in Jerusalem. Many traditions identify them as Elijah and Enoch, but this author has a different theory. (Revelation chapter 11, verse 3) in the newly built city of Jerusalem in the temple; these come from heaven and bring a completely new gospel of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 24, verse 14). For where the King comes from, his previously sent messengers certainly also come from, and these are the two Johns—that is: the Baptist and the Evangelist—and then the end will come (Matthew 24, verse 14).
Here in this year 1832, with the appearance of the two witnesses of God, this most high, solemn oath of God also occurs: that henceforth there shall be no more time until the fulfillment of the mystery of God, or until the second coming of Christ, in which there is also no more "time," but only a half-time (original: "Apoc. 10. Cap. v. 9. u. 7." Revelation chapter 10, verses 9 and 7). The author is referencing the passage where an angel swears that "there should be time no longer" (or "no more delay").
