THOUGHT WAVES.

In our last chapter, we saw that vibration underlies every manifestation of energy and all forms of matter. We also quoted two distinguished scientists who showed that there are fields of vibratory energy not occupied by any known forms of energy. The logical conclusion is that—since there are no gaps in the processes of nature—these unknown fields must be occupied by certain forms of energy that physical science has not yet identified. The teachings of occultists occultist: a student or practitioner of hidden or "secret" knowledge, often relating to the spiritual or mental realms from all lands and ages, as well as those of modern Mental Science Mental Science: a late 19th-century movement, also known as "New Thought," which taught that the mind could influence physical reality, suggest that the mind, when it expresses thought within the brain, generates a form of energy with an intensely high vibration. This energy is projected in vibratory waves from the thinker's brain and then affects the brains of other people within its field of influence.
