WHAT IS THE HUMAN AURA?

The human aura is much the same. At times, it may be seen as a beautiful, calm, and glowing original: "luminous" atmosphere, appearing like a great opal under the rays of the sun. At other times, it blazes like the flames of a massive furnace, shooting out great tongues of fire in every direction, rising and falling in powerful waves of emotional excitement or passion. It might even whirl like a vast, fiery maelstrom: a powerful whirlpool or a state of confused, violent movement toward its center, or swirl outward away from it.

Furthermore, it can be seen projecting smaller bodies or centers of mental vibration from its depths. Like sparks from a furnace, these detach themselves from the parent flame and travel far away in different directions. These are the "projected thought-forms" that occultists: people who study hidden or spiritual matters original: "occultists are fond of speaking" often discuss, and which explain many strange psychic occurrences.
