This page features an ornate, rectangular bookplate printed in dark blue ink. In the center is a circular seal containing a heraldic shield divided vertically. The left side (the dexter side) shows a crown in the upper portion and a book placed over crossed keys in the lower portion. These are traditional symbols for authority and knowledge. The right side (the sinister side) depicts a standing stag. Above the shield sits a bishop’s mitre, a ceremonial headdress. Around the shield, a circular band contains a Latin inscription. The corners of the outer frame are decorated with fleurs-de-lis, which are stylized lily symbols. Below the seal, the text is written in a bold font. At the very bottom center is a small emblem showing a dove with an open book.
