Hellen Rawdon

An elaborate architectural title-page border engraved in copper. At the top, within a broken pediment, two allegorical female figures sit flanking a central trophy of arms. Below them hangs a thick floral garland. The central text is enclosed in a rectangular frame, topped with a winged cherub head. Flanking the central frame are two niches containing standing male figures in classical or philosophical robes. At the very bottom, the imprint information is contained within a decorative cartouche featuring scrolls and ornate carvings.
