From the library of Saint of the Genevieve This refers to the Abbey of Sainte-Geneviève in Paris, Paris 1733
An engraved portrait shows a man in profile facing left. He has a short, trimmed beard and mustache and is wearing a high ruff collar, a fashion typical of the early 17th century. The portrait is set within an oval border, which is placed inside a rectangular frame. The four corners of the rectangle outside the oval are filled with decorative scrollwork flourishes.
