The page displays a faint mirror-image show-through of an elaborate architectural and heraldic frontispiece. At the top, a large, complex coat of arms is surmounted by a crown and flanked by two winged figures (likely representing Fame) blowing long trumpets. The central portion features a large rectangular frame containing a list of titles, which is flanked on either side by knights in full seventeenth-century armor holding halberds. Below this main frame is a horizontal line of text. At the bottom of the composition is a decorative cartouche containing a five-line dedicatory inscription.
To the most illustrious Prince and Lord, Lord
LEOPOLD I, Archduke of Austria, etc.,
Emperor and King, ever August, etc.,
as a token of obedience and due respect:
Maximilian Emanuel, etc.
original Latin: "Illustrissimo Principi, ac Domino, Domino LEOPOLDO I. Archiduci Austriæ etc. Imperatori, et Regi, semper Augusto, etc. in obsequium et debitæ observantiæ monum: Maximilianus Emanuel &c." This dedication is addressed to Leopold I (1640–1705), suggesting this specific print or page was produced later than the original 1608 edition or included in a later collected volume.
