1. Hold the Harquebus well on the shoulder, and march.
2. Take the Harquebus from off the shoulder.
3. And hold it in the right hand pointing upward.
4. Take the Harquebus in the left hand.
5. Take the match in the right hand.
6. Blow the match and hold it well.
7. Secure the match in the serpentine.
8. Aim or adjust the match.
9. Blow the match and open the pan.
10. Present original: "En-iouez"; the command to take aim..
11. Fire.
12. Take down the Harquebus and hold it well with the left hand.
13. Remove the match.
14. And put it back between the fingers.
15. Blow out the pan.
16. Prime Adding fine gunpowder to the external priming pan..

It is necessary, indeed very essential, that Captains take careful watch to accustom their Soldiers to always keep the barrel original: "canon" of the Harquebus high, in order to avoid all accidents.
