6 The numeral 6, likely a section or chapter marker. Sin is sought out; for our sake and yours today was not? our "today." But coming to the holy bath original: "hagion loutron" — a common early Christian reference to the baptismal font, He grants grace. A word for the catechumens original: "katechoumenois" — people receiving instruction in the faith but not yet baptized, for those who are about to be catechized?. Hear, you who are about to receive the mysteries original: "mysteria" — refers here to the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist; and I have learned that you are being enrolled?. Do not receive only the type original: "typon" — an external symbol or foreshadowing upon the earth, but [receive] heaven, desiring those things which are to come?. It is proper to work toward this yourself, whenever you hear the divine? mysteries and the scriptures?. At that time, [if you remain] only in the flesh? and remain? in those things in which you still remain?, [you are] only named? after Christ. To receive a love-token original: "philtron" — usually a charm or potion, here used metaphorically for the spiritual attraction or bond of divine love, however, the title? ... of the brightness of the body?. Not processions? or "revenues" but a baptism of the Word today. For that which is present through this time?, this body and the blood given for us? is proper. Those not written [enrolled]? do not have a part in the inheritance?.
