"All these things, and even more knowledge than this, the blessed man of God Agathangelos The name Agathangelos means "Bringer of Good News" in Greek. recounted to us in his firm and unerring arrangement."
There is also a curious point of inquiry regarding the title of this Book of Agathangelos found in the same Parpetsi; it appears that this book was called the Grigoris original: "Grigoris." This indicates that the work was popularly known as the "History of Saint Gregory [the Illuminator]" rather than by the author's name. among the people from the very days of its author matenagir: a term for a classical Armenian writer or chronicler.
