...the [Pa]risian copy has "God is immutable" original: "Astuats anpopokh e" on page 262.
And whereas in the printed editions, the crying out from the cross in a loud voice is attributed to Isaiah, the Parisian copy attributes this same act to Christ (page 348).
And where the printed editions have, "And or later follow in the midst" The editor is noting a corrupted or nonsensical phrase in the older printed versions., the Parisian copy has, "And later it has not vanished from the midst" (page 309).
Along with many other such examples, there is one more significant matter regarding the order of ecclesiastical traditions that we possess from our Manuscript original: "Grchagre," referring to the specific handwritten codex being used as the primary source for this 1835 edition.. Until now, in the printed editions, there were ten individuals named as the presiding Bishops Bishops: The text uses "Gahereyts Episkoposunk," referring to the high-ranking or "throne-holding" bishops who led the early Armenian sees. ordained by the Illuminator The Illuminator: Saint Gregory the Illuminator, the patron saint of Armenia who converted King Tiridates III and the nation to Christianity in 301 AD.. In our current version, we find twelve in number, for our manuscript adds (on page 627):
"The eleventh, Tirikes; the twelfth, Kyriakos."
This is to say nothing of the absurdity of the disjointed phrasing found in the Preface and the Epilogue of A— The text cuts off here at the end of the page, likely continuing to describe "Agathangelos" or another specific section of the work.
