And those who have a sound mind ought to glorify not the moving things, but the Mover. They ought to marvel not at the attendants, but at the Administrator; not at the things that go, but at the One who makes them go. For even they themselves, by their respective changes, make it clear that there is One who changes them: the sun by its rising, ascending, and turning to its setting; the moon by its growth, fullness, and waning; and all other creatures by their movement and rest according to their respective natures.
