Mar Jacob of Edessa.

The commemoration of the blessed and humble deeds of Mar, as they said that he was yadyira a servant/devotee to the Lord and his minister. He freed his body and completely devoted his soul in their own souls, for they saw the word of a righteous and destroying mind. He turned his face towards them at the time of his death, just as the custom of the high turned so that they might see. And he went to the candle and of the Lord there, for he is the door, in which the righteous enter and inherit new life. His spirit was finished in joy in the days of the heavenly ones, and he received the crown of the entirety of peace, all light. He finished the holy evening in the sea of the life of the Father, and he received all of them, the good worker who received him. Cut for him to return to the path of life until the change, while the body blesses his lovers from the one who lives.

See the disciples for their master who went out and saw him filled, and the rock wept with them in the valleys and the mountain trembled.
