The Eighth Discourse of Archius.

Through the knowledge that He exists, He separated them from Himself, before He created them in such a way that He remains for them for the sake of His own honor; and He separated them by the law of that which is below and that which is above.

The soul, therefore, as a witness that this is a mystery: for He did not make it because its depth is in the likeness of His own; neither does He suffice for them concerning the depth, and concerning all that its Lord knows if you confess. He revealed to His children how the Most High who trusted and was humbled, and also how they turned from the depth back to the heights. For in that Mar Lord/Master exists and because of His being, its Lord does not reveal His depth to Him as if to one who confesses. It was made plain to him as one of the depth concerning his distinctions: as if he were holding his children fast concerning his inheritance. By His hand, it is revealed and speaks with him as one who strengthens, and his Mar Lord and because he may find rest from his labor. He who walks in foolishness and the Mar Lord who gives rest, let him speak: and also that in it they beget the begotten and it surrounds us. He, because the children of rest may speak of the struggle; and the soul may praise in one way until the resurrection. He, because the day that he may eat that he may rest from labors: and like rewards, two and eight as a worker. This is the time for it to go out twice from the midst of the beil dwelling/house, to where he may be, who blesses us, He who is from all. May there be great son of the body and that he may rest that is not: that in one and two he found him a worker.
