How is it that, while you are a believer, you are perplexed by the glorious and faithful word concerning Him who is separated for the Lord, the Sun of Heaven, and [the word] which leads to the Lord, the glorious King? And how, therefore, is there a dwelling with His body, as for the God who is in all, who put on a body, and [concerning] the three [stages] in which He willed to manifest from God, both for Him and for His body?
And this is easy to know, that in this way they are spoken of, even from the testimony of others, from one. For the Lord testifies concerning Christ, He who fell from the seed of the house of David original: "His name was called/fell", and he also said to him through the prophet Ephraim Ephrem the Syrian original: "through the prophet Ephraim", not by the hand, by the King of Judah.
