The heading of Chapter XI is missing; that chapter constitutes the direct continuation of Chapter X. Subsequent corrections in the variants are marked with the lowercase b.
F — Matenadaran, No. 4584, once belonged to Karapet Ezyan; the codex was used by St. Malkhasyants and Mesrop Ter-Movsesyan. Leaves: 389, dimensions: 27.5 x 20, material: paper, binding: leather-covered stamped board, script: two-column, 55 lines, notragir cursive script. Contains a number of historiographical works. Described in: "Universal History of Stepannos Taronetsi Asoghik" (work by St. Malkhasyants), St. Petersburg, 1885, pp. LI—LIX; Galust Ter-Mkrtchyan, "The manuscripts of Pavstos," p. 270; "History of Armenia by Agathangelos," pp. XXV—XXVI; "History of Armenia by Moses of Khoren," p. XXIII; "John Mamikonean: History of Taron," p. XVII; "Yeghishe on Vardan and the Armenian War," pp. XL—XLII. Of the numerous colophons, only one mentions the place and time of production: "Written by the hand of the unworthy Abraham in the city of Tigran in the library of Saint Sargis in the year 1668..." (73b, immediately after Chapter XXV of Aristakes Lastiverttsʻi’s History). Thus, the manuscript was copied in 1668. Like in the previous manuscripts, the heading of Chapter XI is missing. The text has some corrections; with the same script, a colophon was also preserved where it is said: "...Have mercy on the unworthy writer" (128a). The corrections are marked with the lowercase b.
G — Matenadaran, No. 2796 (Gevorgian collection, No. 625), leaves: 70, also has the scribe’s pagination: 140, dimensions: 22.8 x 16.7, material: paper, binding: cardboard, script: single-column, 23 lines, notragir cursive script. Contains only Aristakes Lastiverttsʻi’s work. Has only one colophon from a late period: "N. Hovhannes vardapet Grigorean, acting primate of the Armenians of Bulgaria; January 27, 1882, in Rostock" (1b, abbreviations have been opened). It is noted in the hand of Mesrop Ter-Movsesyan: "19th c. M. Bishop"; it seems it could also be 18th century. It has chapter numbers ("Ch. I", "Ch. XVI", etc.), and has a table of contents on leaves 70a—b. The first chapter is divided, and before the words "And it happened after the death of David of Tao" the heading is repeated: "Events throughout the land of Armenia. Ch. I" (current edition, p. 3).
H — Matenadaran, No. 1895 (old: 1692, Karinyants list No. 1650), leaves: 72, dimensions: 20 x 14.8, material: paper, binding: leather-covered cardboard, script: single-column, 24 lines, notragir cursive script. Contains only Aristakes Lastiverttsʻi’s work. It has no colophons; only a note in the hand of Mesrop Ter-Movsesyan says "19th c. M. Bishop." It has chapter numbers ("Chapter X", "Chapter XV", etc.). Before the words "And it happened after the death of David of Tao," in another hand: "On the arrival of Emperor Basil in Armenia. Chapter I." It has numerous corrections that come from comparison with other manuscripts. Thus, in the margin: "some |payment| from" (4a), "in others which in person" (12b), etc. These corrections are marked with the lowercase h.
