It happened to the Jews who were in Constantinople, and concerning the gates of gold and silver, the painters and the potters were oppressed, and with bread of gold that they were left to eat, and with tears to drink, which to the faces [those] who worship and to the ears [those] who hear. This [phenomenon] qora a cold or chill, used metaphorically here for a period of suffering was born. [Year] 1607 in the days.

In this year, however, no seed came out of the earth because of the famines that occurred to the household of this saint, in the time of the likeness of three, and eight, which intermingle the things and thus we said: and it came into the world, in remembrance, as the days deserved, and God, who is worshipped in the name, blessed us all, and it remained as it went in Baghdad alone, the unique one we said: that we were commanded to rise from the spirit to the heights.
