Syriac Anecdotes, Volumes 3 and 4

What a servant's work was. From bodily things indeed it is this. Because as
the body indeed it moves: and that state and the exercise. And the crucifixion
it was to the body that it should receive that state. Total joy
of the things of the spirit. As it was because in the state. And all this the intelligence
in the state and in the investigation. As he is full of joy. And in this likeness
he shall be moved. And in the investigation that is sent and not a little. Because in the strength and in the power
of the goodness it was moved. Because it does not wish from the joy
to be changed that it should receive it. In this state it is. But it was changed and it shone. Because
a thing that is established. One time therefore that to the daily it was to us: righteousness
141 v. b. : the will we have received. This then therefore the crucifixion* crucifixion
and in the state it shall be set: and of how these shall be to God. That we should become how.
This how: because of the corporeality. These how. This then that which of such-a-one
