...in the faith, the name of which is righteousness upon the words of God, he counted himself among them. Since there was the blessed Abraham, the patriarch of the divine things, as the book testified. And he finds [that] also the blessed Simeon was a guide, while he was bundled in his great art. And at that time it was, for the conduct of life and the shadow in the hearing of him who was moved. And after [he] moved, in that same conduct, the blessed Zekora original: "ܙܟܘܪܐ" of our salvation was finished and rested. While [he was] well-clad in the conduct of life and the heavenly times, just as also he, the book, hinted that the sons of the blessed are beloved in the heavenly conducts. And in these, he placed [hope] upon the holy elder Zekora, while [they were] blooming from the lives of the herds of the desert, all of them, those who [were] examined and chosen 10 r. b. by the hand of that which was time for us to speak about these. The story of the heart, which is the blessed Zekora, is finished.

Cap. 3.

This is the story of the third of the blessed and the life that is a light for the living, and while for the story of the holy John the Elder who stood to be called and to direct the new congregations, the holy one began. By the fact that it is good to speak about the wonders and the manifestations of his hands, one by one of them, these [are the] distinct ones who testified to the living and to the truth of the writings that are not receivable [by some], [so] we have to begin with the first. And for this reason they are, the seeds of Lebanon for the art of God that is in His holy ones, they alone [are] the one who is led in their holy ones, the joyful one of them, and as we said in those secondary [matters] about the days of their lives that do not change. Since from this, before that which is one of the triumphs, a joyful one of the holy one, who is, he serves [the one] who is upon life, they are the clean and orderly times. Just as also all the blessedness of those who [are] from one only distinct [one] 10 v. a. simple, and rested toward the souls in the life. Because of this, from the holy wonders of their hands, we shall record [it] with stretched [hand]. While only that which is the triumph that is by their holy ones, and this we shall begin toward the name of the sun in the life, the living is glorified.
