An elaborate allegorical engraving serves as the printer's mark. In the center, an armillary sphere is set within a decorative cartouche, wrapped in a scroll that reads: "The universe of things is dust in the hand of Jehovah." To the left stands a crowned figure representing Ptolemy, holding a celestial globe and compasses, labeled "Ptolemy of Egypt." To the right stands a figure representing Euclid, holding a tablet with geometric diagrams and compasses, labeled "Euclid." The base of the image is signed "N. Auroux Sc." at the bottom right.
