A manuscript page containing three detailed ink sketches of stags (male deer) with large, multi-tined antlers.
1. At the top left, a stag is shown in a dynamic pose, bending its head low to scratch its ear or face with its left hind leg.
2. At the top right, a stag stands in profile with its head lowered to the ground, appearing to graze.
3. In the lower center, a larger sketch depicts a stag reclining on the ground. Its body is oriented to the left, but its head is turned back to look over its shoulder toward the right.
The drawings are executed with fine hatching to indicate the texture of the fur and the shading of the bodies.
