VIII 142^a — 206^b The eighth chapter of the seven [previous] chapters, again regarding that same war and the sufferings of the holy priests.

Folios — 357. Size — 25.5 X 16.5. Material — paper. Binding — leather-covered board with embossed decoration. Writing — single column, 21 X 12, bolorgir round script, in some places similar to intermediate yerkatagir iron script (listed in the printed catalog as notr cursive script). Scribe — Andreas (second part); the first part is unknown. Recipient — a certain Andreas and later Priest Hovhannes. Date — 656 [of the Armenian era, 1207] for Eghishe, 641 [1192] for the writer and recipient of the second part. Last restoration — by the hand of the historian Zakaria the deacon in the year 1136 [1687] (page 357^a). From the beginning, 2 folios of a fragment from Eghishe in notr script (by the hand of Zakaria?). Folios 3^a — 6^b and elsewhere, a total of 6 folios, are restored in notr script by the hand of Zakaria the deacon. Purchased in the city of "Izmir" original: "Rzmiwrnn" by the nephew of the restorer, Cyriacus the deacon. Colophons — 122^r, 353^b, 355^b, 357^a, 270^b (restorer's colophon: page 357^a).
3^a — 122^r History of the holy Vardan, brave man, Armenian commander, and martyr of Christ, written at the request of the holy Eghishe by the priest David. May God help.
122^r — 342^r Solutions to prayers (partly by Stepannos, Bishop of Syunik), festival grounds, and other collections, as defined by the restorer Zakaria the deacon.
343^b — 353^a Said by the holy Epiphanius, Bishop of Cyprus (regarding the translations of the holy book—the Septuagint, Aquila, Origen, etc.).
