...they do not tell any man, even once, that it is by their own power that they are able to keep us alive. Rather, it is solely the will of God. And him alone we praise, and him we worship, in the unity of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

And they [the angels] are living, rational, knowing, free, and glorious beings. They are also swift and fiery. All the hosts of heaven are joyful. They do not marry, nor do they beget one another, except for God who is the Father of all creation. And they appear to men in the likeness of human beings whenever he [God] wills it. And they perform his commands just as he wills. There are many hosts, and there are nine ranks in three groups: the first group is the Cherubim, the Seraphim, and the Thrones; the second group is the Dominions, the Powers, and the Authorities; and the third group is the Principalities, the Archangels, and the Angels. These nine ranks are one genus, but they are distinguished only by their names, just as the Apostle Paul said: that for all the kinds, they are one, just as human beings also have one genus, but are distinguished by names. And just as human beings are distinguished by names, so too are the angels, as the Apostle Paul said: that there is a name which is named in this world, and there is a name which is named in the world to come.

And when? the Apostle Paul said that there is a name that is named? in this world?, and there is a name that is named in the world? to come?, these? nine ranks of angels? are? one genus, but only? by names? are they distinguished. And just as? human beings have? one genus?, but by names? they are distinguished. And just as human beings are distinguished by names, so too are the angels, as the Apostle Paul said: that there is a name that is named in this world, and there is a name that is named in the world to come. They, these heavenly hosts, who praise God at all times and do his will.
