This is how they should be hearers of the Word of God, and should be accepting of the faith of the truth. And [regarding] that which he said, "You are the light of the world, and you are the salt of the earth." And that which Moses said, "God spoke with me from within the fire." And that which Elijah said, "As the Lord God lives, before whom I stand." And that which John said, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." And that which Paul said, that the will of God is the salvation of all human beings, [the one] who is living and existing. And that which John the Evangelist said, that in him, in the Word, was life, and the life is the light of human beings, and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. And that which Gabriel said to Mary, "He who is born from you is holy, and shall be called the Son of the Most High." And that which John the Baptist said, "I am the voice crying in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord." And that which Jesus the Nazarene said, "I am the light of the world, and whoever comes after me shall not walk in darkness, but shall find for himself the light of life." And that which Paul said, that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. And that which John said, that God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God, and God in him. And that which the Apostle said, that God is light, and darkness is not in him at all.
