...from those which were fully treated first among those Names of God, to speak briefly. And as we seek to ascend from the later things to those which are more excellent—while also in this present discourse, by the power of God's help—let it be explained what the Name of Him who is the Fullness of all is, or what the Name of Goodness is, by which the all-perfect Divinity is named. And [we shall say] that it is fully and primarily from Goodness, which is Love original: "ḥubba" — a translation of the Greek "agape" or "eros," referring to divine, self-giving love., to come to another point, while Goodness reveals to us all those things which exist, just as they are from all those who are beautiful? and in goodness and in beauty? and in love and such things? to show those upon which the Word? shall be beautifully applied.? But it is not fitting for us [to turn away]? from Him, the Life-giver of all,? who is perceived? and known.?
