...so that there may be for them the light of truth, and that they may know the true God and the Christ whom he sent. And may they be saved from error, from sin, and from death. And may they be children of light and of truth. And may they inherit life eternal. And may they praise You, and Your Son, and Your Holy Spirit, now and at all times and for ever and ever. Amen.
And again, a prayer for those who are repenting. Lord, Almighty God, who desires that all mankind should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth: You, Lord, in Your great mercy, look upon these Your servants who are repenting. And open the door of Your mercy before them. And accept their repentance. And make them worthy to be capable of partaking in Your holy mysteries sacraments. And may they be one of Your chosen fold. And may they be praising You, and Your Son, and Your Holy Spirit, now and at all times and for ever and ever. Amen.
A prayer for the deacon. Lord, Almighty God, who has chosen this deacon for the service of Your holy mysteries: You, Lord, in Your grace, make him worthy to serve before You in purity and holiness. And that he may be faithful in all Your commandments. And that he may be a fulfiller of Your good will. And that he may be a praiser of Your holy name. And make him worthy to receive the good reward with the good and faithful deacons. And may he be praising You, and Your Son, and Your Holy Spirit, now and at all times and for ever and ever. Amen.
And again, a prayer for the priest. Lord, Almighty God, who has chosen this priest for the service of Your holy altar: You, Lord, in Your grace, make him worthy to offer before You a sacrifice of praise. And that he may be a servant of Your holy mysteries. And may he be faithful in all Your commandments. And may he be a praiser of Your holy name, now and at all times.
