that he descended to Egypt
and became ill on the road.
And the wise men of Egypt
came to him, and they could not
heal him. And Antony
heard and came to him.
And when he saw him, he said to him,
"What is your sickness?"
And he said to him, "I have a pain
in my belly."
And Antony said to him,
"If I heal you,
what will you give me?"
And he said to him, "Everything
that you desire." And he said to him,
"I do not desire
anything from you, except that
you believe in Christ."
And he said to him, "I believe."
And Antony said to him,
"Stand in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ, and be
healed." And in that hour
he was healed. And he believed,
he and all the members of
his house. And they were baptized.
And there was great joy.
And Antony said to him,
"Go in peace, and be
pure from every thing."

And Antony said to him,
"Go in peace, and be
pure from every
evil thing." And Antony began
to teach them the way
of truth. And when the Jews
who were in Egypt heard
that this man had believed,
all of them gathered together,
and they came to him. And they said
to him, "Why have you abandoned
the law of your fathers,
and followed the
new law?" And he said to them,
"I have seen the truth,
and I have abandoned error."
And they said to him, "What
is the truth that you have seen?"
And he said to them, "I have seen
that Christ is God,
and He is the one who heals
sickness, and gives light to
the blind, and raises
the dead." And they said to him,
"We also know
that He is the Christ,
but we do not believe
in Him, because our fathers
crucified Him." And he said to them,
"If you know
and you do not believe,
you are transgressors."
