...in the waterless land He caused a fountain to flow for them, and when they exacerbated His spirit and provoked Him, Moses stood in the breaking of his people. Similarly, in the days of Aaron, the great priest, who practiced propitiation and offered incense in the time of wrath, their enemies did not rule over them; but when he died on Mount Hor, the Canaanite king of Gadar, who lived to the south, contended against them. And in the days of Moses, they never lacked victory. But when he died on Mount Nebo, they were forbidden the manna. God led the people who had gone out of Egypt through the horrendous sea, and when Pharaoh the persecutor was immersed in the waves, Mary took a timbrel in her hand, and praised the Glorious One, who drowned the persecutor. But when Mary died, the people no longer had water to drink. And in the days of King Hezekiah, they were liberated from the two kings of Assur; but after the death of the righteous man, his sons were led away as hostages to the king of Babylon. Josias, the righteous king, purged the land of Israel from impurity, and he died before the evil arrived; but when he died, the oppressors of Israel were multiplied, and they themselves were rooted out from their land by enemy kings.

And when Aaron slept in Mount Hor, the Canaanites and the king of Gadar, who lived in the south, fought against them, and in the days of Moses they did not lack supplies, and when Moses slept in Mount Nebo, the manna ceased from them. And the people who went out from Egypt God led through the terrible sea, and when He drowned Pharaoh the pursuer, Mary took the timbrel in her hand, and praised the Proud One who drowned the pursuer. And when Mary slept, the water for drinking failed for the people. And in the days of Hezekiah the king, they were saved from the two kings of Assur. And when the righteous man slept, his sons were taken captive to Babylon before the king. And Josias the righteous cleansed the land of Israel from impurity. And his death [was] before the evil came, and at his death their oppressors increased, and they were taken from their land, and were exiled to among their enemies.
