The present fifth figure demonstrates a mill for grinding materials from which one wishes to extract juices or oils, or to process them for some use, such as grinding olives, walnuts, flax seeds, valonia original: "Valonea" – an acorn cup used for tanning, woad original: "Guato" – a plant used for blue dye, and similar things. The millstone is marked with A. Its bed, where the material to be crushed is also placed, is marked with B. At the top of the roof, one must assume a sail with a flywheel, so that the wind provides motion to it.
The Latin text mirrors the description, identifying the machine as a mill for processing olives, nuts, and various seeds for oil or other industrial purposes, powered by a wind-driven mechanism.
A faint illustration depicts a building or mill structure topped with a windmill-like sail mechanism, which corresponds to the "sail with a flywheel" described in the text.
