and they shall display the terms of this our Imperial privilege original: "privilegii Cæſ. tenorem", printed at the front for the public warning of everyone. At least four copies shall be sent to our Imperial Court Chancery at the printer’s own expense. We therefore command each and every subject of ourselves, of the Holy Empire, and of our hereditary kingdoms and domains, of whatever status, rank, order, condition, dignity, or preeminence they may be, whether ecclesiastical or secular, that they obey this. We especially command those appointed to the Magistracy, or those who exercise the administration of law and justice in their own name or in the name and place of their superiors, that they do not allow anyone to rashly or with impunity violate or transgress this our Imperial privilege. Instead, they should ensure that any who are stubborn are punished with the prescribed penalty and restrained by other suitable means, as much as they themselves wish to avoid the same fine. In witness of these letters, signed by our hand and secured by the attachment of Our Imperial Seal. These were given in our city of Vienna on the seventh day of the month of September in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred sixty-two; in the fifth year of our Roman reign, the eighth of our Hungarian reign, and the seventh of our Bohemian reign.
