An elaborate architectural frontispiece. At the top, four putti sit upon a cornice under a draped curtain; one holds a torch, two hold a large stellated dodecahedron on a staff, and one holds a mirror. The central title is framed by two caryatids (a satyr on the left and a female figure on the right). At the base, two seated figures represent the arts and sciences: on the left, a helmeted female figure (Minerva/Athena) holding a spear and a tablet; on the right, a male figure (Mercury/Hermes) with a caduceus and a pair of compasses. Between them on a ledge are various geometric solids including a pyramid, cube, and polyhedra.
