An ornate architectural woodcut device. In a central oval frame, a draped female figure stands leaning her arm upon a stone pillar. Within the oval frame are the words "VIGILANCE" and "SECURITY". The oval is surrounded by a complex arrangement of decorative scrolls, masks, and garlands. At the top, two winged putti hold the frame; at the bottom, two crouched male figures support the base.
