The Book of Causes original Latin: "Liber de causis." This text was a cornerstone of medieval philosophy. Although it was long attributed to Aristotle, scholars later discovered it was actually an anonymous Arabic compilation of the "Elements of Theology" by the Neoplatonist philosopher Proclus. It explores how existence flows from a single "First Cause" (God) down through intelligence and the soul to the physical world.
