The printer's mark of Henricus Stephanus. It depicts a large, gnarled olive tree with several branches, some of which are pruned or broken. To the right of the tree stands an elderly, bearded man in a long robe, gesturing towards the tree. A ribbon scroll is entwined around the tree trunk and branches bearing the Latin motto: "Be not high-minded" original: "NOLI ALTVM SAPERE"; a quote from Romans 11:20 urging humility.
