From this list, we see that the Fulda book and the lost Pithou manuscript agree entirely with the copy Δ, and that the numbers in the mutilated codices ΣΞ, although rarely written erroneously, do not diverge from them. It cannot be said what the organizer of the collection had in mind in arranging the Theodosian and Valentinian [laws] (A) in this manner. For we have these series of novels:
