Engraved emblem of the Order of the Garter, consisting of a circular garter with a buckle, surmounted by a coronet. The garter contains the motto "HONI · SOIT · QUI · MAL · Y · PENSE". Within the circle are three ostrich feathers (the badge of the Prince of Wales). A printed bibliographic clipping is pasted vertically over the center of the emblem.
