At the end of this Volume are placed, with all the diligence that was possible, the errors occurring in its printing: not all of them, however, but only those of some importance in each sheet of the books where they are not all correctly rectified. Therefore, before you set yourself to read anything, you must correct with a pen the number of the pages, and then the errors that you will encounter in them: as in this way you will be able to use them. All the errors of the present work are of two sorts: which I have placed at the end of the book. Know therefore that what you seek will respond by correcting the upper number in their places, for those used in place of them are faulty.
