A matter troublesome to readers has crept into this printing, namely that punctuation marks are frequently placed incorrectly. Since it would be a tedious delay to go through every single instance, let it suffice to have warned of this once.
In the treatise on fermentation, the errors that occur in the wording (omitting the more minor ones) can be corrected in roughly this manner.
