Yet it cannot be denied that the discovery of a divinatory power the ability to foresee or intuit hidden truths, manifesting itself clearly in at least some persons, would contribute no small amount to the reassurance of many a mind lost in doubt, if only it were entirely accurate. And perhaps our philosopher will be pleased in the future to inform the world more closely about his experiences, which appear so important for the study of the soul.

Sophron. At the very least, I cannot imagine that a man who claims to have such a powerful, irresistible urge to share everything he believes himself to be convinced of with his fellow men would not explain himself further regarding such an extraordinary matter. He will surely never expect me, or all those who have no personal experience of intuitive feelings, significant dreams, and apparitions, to believe him in such strange matters, in which many a person has already allowed themselves to be deceived by their own imagination fantasy or false perception.
