...unknowingly the Divine Center original: "Centrum." In Boehme's cosmology, the "Center" is the inner point or root from which all things originate and where God’s presence dwells., how the Divine Being is born there: Rather, it depends on GOD’S will, how He wishes to reveal Himself. But if GOD reveals Himself in the soul, what has the soul done to achieve this? Nothing; it has only the longing for the birth original: "Sähnung zur Gebuhrt." For Boehme, "the birth" refers to the spiritual regeneration or the "new birth" of the soul into the light of God., and looks toward GOD, in whom it lives, by which the Divine Light becomes shining within it; for the first earnest Principle original: "Ernste Principium." This refers to the dark, fiery root of existence which, without the light of God, is a state of severe torment or wrath., from which the origin of movement comes, is transformed into triumphant joy.

They shall not stop the Son, whom the longing Mother shall bring forth in her old age Boehme likely refers to the "Sofia" or the "Lily" time—a period of spiritual renewal and the birth of true wisdom in the latter days of the world.; for heaven indicates this: GOD will enlighten him against all the raging and fuming of the Devil, and will stretch his radiance from the rising of the sun to its setting.
17. I would now like to comply with the Master’s request and gladly send what was promised, wherein everything that is mentioned here might be explained; as well as what the good and well-known Mr. B. W. Referring to Balthasar Walther, a physician and student of alchemy and Kabbalah who was a close friend and supporter of Boehme. has desired regarding the origin, essence, life, and drive of man and his soul, as well as its final departure. However, it is not entirely finished; for the gifts that were once given to me by GOD have not entirely died out, though they were for a time covered over by the Devil and the world; yet now they manifest themselves at times much more highly...
