5. Therefore, Noble Sir, I have no other cause to write to you than solely out of a desire for true love toward the children of GOD, so that I may delight myself together with them. Gestr." has very kindly offered me love-service as to a stranger; rather, [I write] for the sake of the hope of Israel original: "Hoffnung Israelis," a biblical reference to the expectation of spiritual restoration and the coming of the Messiah’s kingdom., and so that I may rejoice greatly in that life with God’s children; and my labor, which I perform here in love toward them, will then be well rewarded, as I shall thus rejoice with my brothers, and each man’s works shall follow him.

6. Therefore I am in earnest, since a spark of the noble pearl has also been given to me, and Christ faithfully warns us not to put it under the bench or to bury it in the earth. Neither should we fear too greatly those men who kill the body and can do nothing more, but rather [fear] Him who may destroy both body and soul and cast them into hell.
